The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification and provides learners with the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in basic life support and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) usage in emergency situations.
The qualification has been designed for those who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) when dealing with an emergency situation which may involve using an AED.
